Fees
Please note that for administrative reasons, it is mandatory to join the Chikumeisha France association to participate in the workshop. If you are not already a member, you should join with two options:
- for 30€ a year, you support the association through various initiatives managed by the board,
- for 5€ a year, you are able to join the association even if you are not able to support it more strongly.
Both options grant you a full membership, but with the 30€ option, in addition to supporting the association, you gain access to premium contents (currently still under development) that includes video lessons, recordings and sheet music.
Once you are a member, the registration fees for the workshop are as follows:
Full participation (intermediate/advanced) | 160 € |
Beginners | 80 € |
Pure beginners and audit only | 30 € (possible to borrow an instrument) |
All participants can audit all parts of the workshop and listen to the concerts. The level indication is an indication of teaching level. Intermediate/Advanced means that the instruction will be based on the assumption that the participants are acquainted with basic and most of the more advanced techniques.
For beginner level, the assumption is that the participants can make a stable sound in at least the two basic registers, and are acquainted with basic techniques.
The pure beginners participation is for total beginners who have not even held a shakuhachi, or those who have just begun trying to make a stable sound. It is also possible to audit all other parts of the workshop.
Registration
To register, please send an e-mail to registration@chikumeisha.net indicating the category (level) you choose as per above (full, beginner, pure beginner/audit).
For more information, please send an e-mail to contact@chikumeisha.net.
